Safe and effective form is a major key to success in rowing, whether indoors on the rowing machine or outside on the water. Whether you are rowing for exercise or rowing for top performance, technique should be top priority.
Proper technique allows the rower to row injury free, get the most out of every stroke and ultimately advance to the next level of performance.
Poor technique leads to injury and frustration as well as plateaus in splits and power.
With over 20 years of on and off the water coaching experience, over 20 years of masters' competitive rowing, level IV USRowing Coaching certification and indoor rowing certification, I've come to know what works with training plans and technical coaching.
